How the bridge works

Your wallet signs one ARC-72 transfer per bird on Voi (collection 39924040) to the burn address. That address is the SHA-512/256 hash of a fixed phrase, so no key for it exists and nothing sent there can ever move again.

The Algorand address you picked is written into that same signed transaction. Once Voi confirms, the bridge wallet sends the matching VGULL there — and only there.

If anything stops halfway, the burn is still on Voi with your receiver in it. This page finds it and sends the VGULL the next time you open it.
